  3. In a lightly greased baking dish, arrange half of the zucchini slices in a single layer.
  4. Spread half of the creamy ricotta cheese evenly over the first layer of zucchini slices.
  5. Pour half of the marinara sauce over the ricotta layer evenly.
  6. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the marinara sauce.
  7. Repeat the layering process with the remaining zucchini slices, ricotta cheese, marinara, and mozzarella.
  8. Sprinkle dried oregano over the top layer and bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with freshly chopped basil before serving.
