Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Lemon Pizza
  1. Start by mixing the pizza dough according to your chosen recipe or use store-bought dough. Allow the dough to rise until it doubles in size, about 1 hour, while preheating your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Once the dough is ready, slice the fresh mozzarella into ½-inch thick pieces and set aside.
  3. Transfer the risen dough onto parchment paper and shape it into a rectangle about 9x13 inches.
  4. In a jar, combine olive oil, a splash of water, parsley, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Shake until emulsified.
  5. Create dimples in the dough and pour the brine over the dough. Scatter the sliced mozzarella on top.
  6. Slide the parchment paper with the topped pizza onto your pizza stone. Bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
