Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by peeling your fresh pineapple and slicing it into rings or wedges, about ½-inch thick for optimal thickness.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine brown sugar, melted butter, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Stir until a thick paste forms. Then, add the pineapple slices to the bowl and toss gently.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Allow it to heat for approximately 3-5 minutes.
  4. Carefully arrange the coated pineapple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. After the full 10 minutes, check your pineapple slices for a golden brown color. If needed, air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, carefully remove the caramelized pineapple from the air fryer and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
