- Boil 4 quarts of water with 2 tablespoons of salt. Add spaghetti and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.
- Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Toss drained spaghetti into the skillet with garlic. Slowly add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached. Stir for 2-3 minutes.
