Step-by-Step Instructions for Slow Cooker Pepper Steak
- Begin by placing the strips of beef sirloin evenly in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Next, chop the onion and bell peppers into bite-sized pieces and layer them on top of the beef.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together minced garlic, beef broth, crumbled bouillon cubes, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, ground ginger, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the beef and vegetable layers in the slow cooker.
- Cover the slow cooker tightly and set it to LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Once the cooking time is complete, check the sauce consistency and if needed, mix cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry and stir it into the sauce.
- Serve the Slow Cooker Pepper Steak over jasmine rice or noodles and enjoy.
