Step-by-Step Instructions for Roasted Orange Chicken
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine the juice of two oranges, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and olive oil. Whisk until well blended.
- Place the whole chicken in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it’s fully coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Transfer the marinated chicken into the prepared baking dish and pour half of the marinade over it. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- While the chicken is baking, simmer the remaining marinade in a saucepan for about 10 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Once baking is complete, remove the chicken and drizzle the thickened glaze over it. Serve with your choice of sides.
