Ingredients
  

Steak Marinade
  • 1 pound Sirloin steak Flank or skirt steak are great substitutes.
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil Provides richness and helps tenderize the meat.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 medium Lemon juice Freshly squeezed.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
Base
  • 2 cups Cooked grains Brown rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice.
  • 1 can Roasted chickpeas Optional for added protein.
Toppings
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Diced.
  • 1 medium Cucumber Sliced.
  • 1/2 medium Red onion Sliced.
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives
  • Feta cheese Optional.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh herbs Chopped parsley or dill.
Tzatziki
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Or coconut yogurt for dairy-free.
  • 1/2 cup Grated cucumber Squeezed dry.
  • 1 clove Minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
Vinaigrette
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Optional.
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Prepare the marinade by whisking together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Coat the sirloin steak thoroughly in the marinade and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
  2. Make the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, salt, and pepper. Cover and chill.
  3. Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper for the vinaigrette.
  4. Cook the steak in a hot skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and desired doneness is reached. Let it rest for at least 5 minutes.
  5. Assemble the bowl with cooked grains, sliced steak, and toppings including tomatoes, cucumber, onion, olives, and feta.
  6. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce and vinaigrette. Garnish with fresh herbs.
