- Begin by slicing two yellow onions thinly. Melt two tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium-low heat. Add the sliced onions along with one tablespoon of brown sugar. Cook for 25-30 minutes until caramelized.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1.5 pounds of ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until combined.
- Once the onions have cooled slightly, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl. Fold in the caramelized onions.
- Wash and chop the mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. Arrange them in serving bowls.
- In the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the beef mixture, cook for 8-10 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
- Assemble your burger bowls starting with the greens, add cooked beef, topped with veggies, aioli, shredded cheese, pickles, and chives.
