Cooking Instructions
  1. Begin by slicing two yellow onions thinly. Melt two tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium-low heat. Add the sliced onions along with one tablespoon of brown sugar. Cook for 25-30 minutes until caramelized.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1.5 pounds of ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  3. Once the onions have cooled slightly, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl. Fold in the caramelized onions.
  4. Wash and chop the mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. Arrange them in serving bowls.
  5. In the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the beef mixture, cook for 8-10 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
  6. Assemble your burger bowls starting with the greens, add cooked beef, topped with veggies, aioli, shredded cheese, pickles, and chives.
