Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.
- Add the chopped pecans to the filling mixture and stir gently until well coated.
- Unroll the Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and separate them into triangles on a clean surface.
- Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of the pecan filling onto the widest end of each dough triangle, roll up and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Bake the rolls for 8 minutes until they begin to set but are not browned.
- Remove the rolls from the oven and brush with the reserved sugar mixture, then bake an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the rolls cool slightly and optionally sprinkle with chopped pecans before serving.
