Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.
  3. Add the chopped pecans to the filling mixture and stir gently until well coated.
  4. Unroll the Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and separate them into triangles on a clean surface.
  5. Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of the pecan filling onto the widest end of each dough triangle, roll up and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake the rolls for 8 minutes until they begin to set but are not browned.
  7. Remove the rolls from the oven and brush with the reserved sugar mixture, then bake an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let the rolls cool slightly and optionally sprinkle with chopped pecans before serving.
