  • 1 lb Ground Beef or flank steak for a leaner option
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Paste fresh ginger works great if available
  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic adjust based on preference
  • 1 cup Beef Broth can substitute with chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce opt for low-sodium if preferred
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar honey can replace if desired
  • 2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce oyster sauce is an alternative
  • to taste Pepper season to heat preference
  • to taste Red Pepper Flakes omit for milder flavor
For the Noodles
  • 8 oz Linguini Noodles can switch with spaghetti or rice noodles

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add linguini noodles and cook according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Sauté until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in ginger paste and minced garlic into the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in beef broth, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well, reduce heat to low, and let simmer for 10-15 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add cooked linguini noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce and beef. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, plate the noodles, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
