Step-by-Step Instructions
- Sterilize a 1-quart heatproof pitcher by rinsing it with hot water for a couple of minutes.
- Layer dried culinary lavender at the bottom of your infuser, followed by black tea leaves.
- Heat 4 cups of water to a temperature between 195–205°F. Pour the boiling water over the tea and lavender mixture in the infuser and cover the pitcher.
- After 10 minutes, carefully remove the infuser without squeezing it to prevent bitterness.
- While the tea is warm, stir in 2-3 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup until fully combined.
- Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, approximately 20 minutes. Then refrigerate for 75 minutes or create an ice bath.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled Lavender Iced Tea over them. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh lavender sprigs.
