  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter or vegan butter
For the Coating
  • 1 cup Pecans or walnuts or almonds
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar adjust based on sweetness of nuts
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon optional
  • 1 tsp Salt
For the Garnish
  • 1/2 cup Dried cranberries or dried cherries or chopped apricots
  • 1 tbsp Chopped parsley optional
For Serving
  • 1 pkg Pretzel sticks for easy serving

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut the goat cheese into 8–10 equal discs and arrange them on a plate. Leave out at room temperature for about 10 minutes to soften.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium-low heat. Add the chopped pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir for about 5 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  3. Transfer the pecan mixture onto parchment paper to cool for about 10 minutes, then crush it into a crumbly texture.
  4. Chop dried cranberries and mix them with the crushed pecans and chopped parsley on a large plate.
  5. Press each cheese disc into the pecan-cranberry mixture, ensuring even coating and roll into perfect balls.
  6. Insert pretzel sticks into the top of each cheese ball for easy serving.
  7. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to an hour to firm up. Store in an airtight container if needed.
