  • 1 cup Pineapple Juice or apple juice

  • 1 cup Teriyaki Sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 1/4 cup Honey or agave syrup
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce low-sodium recommended
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger fresh, minced, or ground
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes.
  3. Flip each chicken wing using tongs and bake for an additional 25 minutes.
  4. Prepare the sauce by mixing pineapple juice, teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and black pepper in a bowl.
  5. Remove the wings from the oven, brush generously with the sauce mixture, and bake for another 15 minutes.
  6. Switch the oven to broil and place the wings under the heat for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Let the wings rest for a minute before serving, garnished with sesame seeds and cilantro.
