  • 1 large Large Yellow Onion Sliced.
  • 1 each Green and Red Bell Peppers Optional, sliced.
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic For garlic butter spread.
For the Hoagie Rolls
  • 4 pieces Hoagie Rolls Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prep the Steak: Freeze the steak for 30 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Toast the Rolls: Combine softened butter with minced garlic, spread on hoagie rolls, and toast in a skillet for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Caramelize Onions: Sauté sliced onion in 1 tablespoon of oil for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Set aside.
  4. Cook the Steak: In the same skillet, add remaining oil and sear steak for 2-3 minutes, then add onions back and cook until steak is juicy.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Divide steak into portions, top with provolone cheese, and cover to melt for 1-2 minutes.
