Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Bring cream cheese and butter to room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  2. Combine softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and instant coffee in a bowl. Blend with a hand mixer until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Spread the mixture in a shallow container and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to firm.
  4. Shape the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined plate.
  5. Refrigerate shaped truffles for another 20-30 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  7. Dip the firm truffles into the melted chocolate and return to the parchment-lined plate.
  8. Allow the coated truffles to set at room temperature or in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  9. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
