Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked shredded chicken, cream cheese, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles on a clean surface.
  4. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling on the wide end of each triangle, fold over, and pinch the edges to seal.
  5. Arrange the filled pillows seam-side down on the baking sheet and brush with melted butter or cooking spray.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown, keeping an eye on them as they bake.
  7. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and whisk in flour to create a roux, then gradually add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring until thickened.
  8. Reduce heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  9. Serve the Chicken Pillows warm, drizzled with or on the side of creamy sauce.
