Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by preheating your grill to medium-high heat, aiming for around 400°F.
  2. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes prior to grilling.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed chicken breast, pineapple chunks, chopped red and green bell peppers, and diced red onion. Toss gently.
  4. Thread your ingredients onto the skewers, alternating pieces until filled.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together your barbecue sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Allow the kabobs to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  7. Place the kabobs on the preheated grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  8. Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
