Vinaigrette Preparation
- In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, white balsamic vinegar, whole grain mustard, crushed garlic, juice and zest of lemon, sugar, ground coriander, and salt. Whisk until well blended and emulsified, about 1-2 minutes.
Combining Ingredients
- In a large mixing bowl, add coarsely chopped fresh herbs, sliced red onion, and chives. Toss in fancy lettuce and gently mix to distribute ingredients evenly.
Topping the Salad
- Layer sliced Cara Cara oranges or tangerines on top, followed by medallions of Persian cucumber. Crumble goat cheese over the salad.
Adding Crunch
- Sprinkle pralines or sweet almond slivers over the salad for added crunch and sweetness.
Dressing the Salad
- Drizzle the homemade lemon vinaigrette generously over the salad. Toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
