Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, then add oil, vanilla extract, and milk.
  4. Gradually pour wet ingredients into dry, mixing until combined. Do not over-mix.
  5. Fold in the chopped apples evenly into the batter.
  6. Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle with half the brown sugar-cinnamon mix.
  7. Add the remaining batter and top with the leftover brown sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. While cooling, whisk together glaze ingredients until smooth.
  10. Drizzle glaze over the bread after cooling for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
