Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium skillet, heat a splash of oil over medium heat, then add the diced onions. Sauté for about 5 minutes until soft and translucent.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, sautéed onions, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until fully integrated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and shape it into a loaf form.
- Sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese over the top of the meatloaf. Optionally add paprika or Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Allow the meatloaf to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
- Slice into hearty portions and serve warm with your favorite sides.
