  4. Step 4: Layer the Potatoes - Quarter the red potatoes and layer on top of the beef in the slow cooker.
  5. Step 5: Prepare the Cooking Liquid - Mix beef broth and soy sauce, then pour over beef and potatoes.
  6. Step 6: Slow Cook to Perfection - Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
