- Preheat your oven to 400°F (or set your air fryer to 375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough until it’s about ¼ inch thick and cut it into rectangles measuring roughly 4x6 inches.
- Spoon a tablespoon of marinara or pizza sauce onto the center of each dough rectangle, leaving about a half-inch border.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce and add grated Parmesan cheese and any desired fillings.
- Fold each rectangle in half to create a pocket and seal the edges by pressing firmly and crimping with a fork.
- Brush the tops of the pockets with a beaten egg and sprinkle with dried oregano or garlic powder if desired.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown, or 8-10 minutes in the air fryer, flipping halfway through.
- Let them cool for about 5 minutes before serving warm with extra marinara sauce on the side.
