  • 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour Can swap with bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Salted Butter (Melted)
Filling Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar (Packed)
  • 2 tablespoons Cinnamon
Glaze/Frosting Ingredients
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Room Temperature Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy Cream
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water, dry active yeast, and granulated sugar. Allow to sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, add salt and all-purpose flour to yeast mixture, stir until dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Let rest covered for 10 minutes.
  3. Roll dough into a rectangle (10x12 inches). Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Roll the dough lengthwise, slice down the center, twist, and shape into a loaf.
  5. Place loaf in greased pan, cover, and let rise for 20 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F and bake for 23-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes, then glaze or frost as desired.
