Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Peel and slice 5-6 medium sweet potatoes into thin medallions using a mandoline slicer.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine unsalted butter, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Heat over medium until melted and mixed, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a baking dish, arrange half of the sweet potato medallions and brush three-quarters of the sauce over them.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 45-50 minutes, until tender when pierced with a fork.
  6. Remove the foil, drizzle remaining sauce over the top, and sprinkle with chopped pecans and mini marshmallows.
  7. Switch oven setting to broil and bake for another 1-2 minutes until marshmallows are golden.
  8. Let it cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
