Ingredients
  

For the Beef and Vegetables
  • 1 lb Steak Thinly sliced beef (ribeye, sirloin, or top round)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Used for sautéing
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped, can substitute shallots
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper Any color, provides crunch
  • 1 cup Mushrooms Chopped, can substitute zucchini or spinach
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Can use fresh garlic
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika Optional
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
For the Cheese Sauce
  • 1 cup Provolone or Mozzarella Cheese For creaminess
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley Optional, for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Slice steak thinly against the grain, and chop onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, cook onions and bell pepper for 5-6 minutes.
  3. Add mushrooms and garlic powder, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Push veggies aside in the skillet, add steak, sear for 2-3 minutes each side. Season with salt, pepper.
  5. Combine cooked vegetables with steak and mix well, allowing flavors to meld for an additional minute.
  6. In a small saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour, then add milk until thickened. Stir in cheese until smooth.
  7. Serve beef and vegetables in bowls, drizzling warm cheese sauce over the top and garnishing with parsley.
