  • 12 pieces Medjool Dates pitted and halved
  • 4 ounces Goat Cheese room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts chopped or whole
Drizzle
  • 1/4 cup Honey or agave nectar
Spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if warming walnuts. Cut each Medjool date in half lengthwise and remove the pit.
  2. Scoop room temperature goat cheese into the cavity of each date half, ensuring a generous filling.
  3. Press a walnut into the goat cheese filling of each date half.
  4. Drizzle honey over the top of each stuffed date.
  5. Sprinkle red pepper flakes or Aleppo pepper over the stuffed dates if desired.
  6. Arrange the stuffed dates on a festive platter and chill for about 30 minutes before serving.
