Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if warming walnuts. Cut each Medjool date in half lengthwise and remove the pit.
- Scoop room temperature goat cheese into the cavity of each date half, ensuring a generous filling.
- Press a walnut into the goat cheese filling of each date half.
- Drizzle honey over the top of each stuffed date.
- Sprinkle red pepper flakes or Aleppo pepper over the stuffed dates if desired.
- Arrange the stuffed dates on a festive platter and chill for about 30 minutes before serving.
