Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage, breaking it into smaller pieces. Sauté until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add chopped onion and bell peppers to the skillet. Stir frequently and cook until softened, about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and thicken for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce, using reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency if necessary.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
