Step‑By‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season both sides of the chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken thighs for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. In the same skillet, lower the heat, add butter, and then minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Add flour and whisk.
  5. Gradually whisk in chicken broth, heavy cream, thyme, onion powder, and parmesan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, spoon the sauce over them, and bake for 25-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before garnishing with chopped parsley.
