Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Spray your 6-quart crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. Layer in the diced potatoes, cooked ham, and finely chopped onion.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, 1.5 cups of sharp cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce evenly over the ingredients and gently stir to coat. Cover the crockpot and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  4. When complete, sprinkle the remaining 0.5 cup of cheddar cheese over the top and cook on HIGH for an additional 10-15 minutes until melted.
