  • 4 cups Beef Broth Swap with chicken or vegetable broth if desired.
For the Beans
  • 15 ounces Kidney Beans Rinse before use.
For Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce Use soy sauce if avoiding gluten.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 leaf Bay Leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until mostly browned. Add diced onion and cook for an additional 3 minutes, then add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  2. In the slow cooker, layer chopped potatoes, carrots, celery, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Drizzle Worcestershire sauce on top, then sprinkle with spices.
  3. Gently spoon the browned beef mixture on top and stir everything together. Cover and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, remove the bay leaf, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, and serve hot.
