Ingredients

For the Beef
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Adds richness and helps sear the beef to perfection.
  • 3 pounds Chuck Roast Ideal for slow cooking; offers great flavor and tenderness.
  • 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour Creates a flavorful crust on the beef before braising; can be substituted with cornstarch for a gluten-free option.
For the Sauce
  • 2 cups Beef Broth Forms the base of the braising liquid, adding rich flavor.
  • 1 can Coconut Milk Provides the creamy texture and unique flavor; use full-fat for best results.
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Adds saltiness and umami, balancing the sweetness of the coconut; tamari can be used as a gluten-free alternative.
  • 2 tablespoons Red Curry Paste The star ingredient that imparts spicy, aromatic flavor to the dish.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger Adds a fresh, zesty element to the braising liquid.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Essential for depth of flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar Balances the spices with a touch of sweetness.
