- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, mini chocolate chips, orange zest, and cinnamon. Mix until blended and creamy.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each pastry square and fold corners towards the center, pinching edges to seal.
- Apply beaten egg over the tops of the squares using a pastry brush.
- Transfer squares to the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once baked, cool on a wire rack and dust with confectioner's sugar.
