Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, mini chocolate chips, orange zest, and cinnamon. Mix until blended and creamy.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each pastry square and fold corners towards the center, pinching edges to seal.
  5. Apply beaten egg over the tops of the squares using a pastry brush.
  6. Transfer squares to the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
