Preparation

  2. Flatten the bread slices to about 1/4 inch thick using a rolling pin.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and sugar in a shallow dish.
  4. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Dip each flattened bread slice into the egg mixture for 10-15 seconds.
  6. Roll up each bread slice tightly, placing seam-side down in the skillet.
  7. Cook the rolls in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  8. Transfer the rolls to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
