Method
 

Scone Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Cut in the cold, cubed butter until the mixture looks like small pea-sized crumbs.
  4. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Mix the milk and egg yolks together, then pour into the dry ingredients and combine gently.
  6. Fold in the candy cane crunch.
  7. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and shape into an 8-inch circle, cutting out scones.
  8. Chill the cut scones for about 15 minutes before baking.
  9. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Mix powdered sugar with milk to create the glaze, then drizzle over cooled scones.
