  1. Prepare the mascarpone mixture by beating mascarpone cheese and heavy cream until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Add the flavors: mix in amaretto liqueur, cherry juice, and vanilla extract, continuing to beat until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, stir together granulated sugar and cherry preserves, then fold into the mascarpone blend.
  4. Fold chopped fresh cherries into the mascarpone mixture until evenly incorporated.
  5. Prepare the dipping mixture by combining equal parts of amaretto liqueur and cherry juice in a shallow dish.
  6. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the mixture for 1-2 seconds, then arrange in a single layer at the bottom of a dish.
  7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat the dip-and-layer process with the remaining ladyfingers, then top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  9. Chill the tiramisu by covering the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  10. Dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle grated dark chocolate before serving.
