  5. Mix cornstarch with a bit of water to create a slurry, then add to the blueberry mixture and cook until thickened.
  6. Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form, about 3–5 minutes.
  7. Assemble by layering pastry, cream, blueberry compote, and repeat, finishing with a pastry layer.
  8. Pipe whipped cream on top, sprinkle with blueberries, drizzle with blueberry compote, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
