Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Gather all your ingredients and find a mixing bowl to start combining the dry components.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar until well combined.
- Cut 1/4 cup of very cold butter into small cubes and add into the dry mixture, using a pastry cutter or your fingertips to work it in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gently fold in 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries into the dough mixture, being careful not to overmix.
- Slowly pour in 3/4 cup of milk, mixing until just combined. Use a spatula to gently stir until the ingredients form a shaggy dough.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat it into a rectangle about 1-inch thick.
- Using a biscuit cutter or a glass, cut out rounds from the dough, placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake in your preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Notes
Chill the butter to ensure maximum flakiness and do not overmix after adding the milk to keep the biscuits tender.
