  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Sharp cheddar or pepper jack can be used.
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce Use your favorite homemade or store-bought version.
  • 1 cup Cilantro Omit if not preferred.
  • 1 cup Green Onions
Topping Ingredients
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken Breast Rotisserie chicken is a great shortcut.
  • 4 slices Bacon Turkey bacon can serve as a lighter substitute.
  • 1 small Red Onion Shallots can be used as a milder alternative.
  • 1 medium Carrot Swap with bell peppers for added crunch.
  • to taste Black Pepper Freshly ground is recommended.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the chicken by seasoning it with salt and pepper. Dice the bacon, and chop the red onion and carrot.
  2. In a skillet, fry the diced bacon until crispy. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the seasoned chicken breast until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the oven to 500°F.
  2. Assemble the pizzas by spreading BBQ sauce on flatbread, layering with cheese, chicken, bacon, onion, and carrot.
  3. Bake for 6–7 minutes or until edges are crispy and cheese is bubbly.
  4. Garnish with cilantro and green onions before serving.
