- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and coat a donut pan with non-stick spray.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fill each cavity of the prepared donut pan with the batter about 2/3 full.
- Bake the donuts for 15–16 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
- While cooling, melt some butter and mix granulated sugar and cinnamon for the coating.
- Once cooled, brush or dip each donut in melted butter and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
