- Pour two-thirds of the batter into the hot greased pan, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
- Sprinkle the crumbled feta over the batter layer, ensuring it's evenly distributed.
- Mix the reserved egg with a splash of water and incorporate it into the remaining batter, then pour this over the feta layer.
- Dot the top with small pieces of butter and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for about 40 minutes, rotating halfway, until golden brown and edges pull away from the pan.
